»What can I do to increase my exposure to coaches and have them look at my profile?
Profiles are actually weighted by the amount of information provided and the frequency of how often you login to the site. The more information provided, the higher your profile appears in the coach search. Also, coaches will see symbols for photo and video on the search and of course the players with detailed statistics, video, biography, news and other information are going to be more appealing then someone with limited information.
»I play another sport that I would also like to play at the next level. How do I provide that information on Playerville?
We are continually improving Playerville to meet the needs of our Players. For now, if you play another sport, you will have to create a second profile for that sport. You will need a separate email address to register. You can use your parent?s email address or create a free email address on Yahoo or Google.
»How will coaches contact me?
Coaches have two options at this point in regard to Playerville. They can contact your coach through the information you provide (email, cell phone). They can contact you through your email address assuming you are illegible for contact. We have an internal messaging system planned for the future but for now, coaches can forward an email request through Playerville to you.
»How will I know if my profile is being viewed by coaches?
We will have a counter planned for the near future that will show how many times you have been searched and how many times your profile has been viewed by individuals with coach access (coaches, recruiters, athletic department personnel, etc.) or the public.
»My profile shows I am a quarterback but I play another position?
Presently, when you choose Football in your initial Athlete Sign Up, the field defaults to Quarterback and you must use the drop down to choose your position. The field should be blank and then have the choices below. We are aware of this problem and fixing it. Also, if you accidentally find yourself as a Quarterback or another position you do not play, contact the website at info@playerville.com and we will fix it for quickly rather than creating a new profile. In the coming weeks, this glitch will be fixed and if you do happen to pick the wrong position, you will be able to fix your position through the Edit Profile feature.
»I created my profile and then tried to re-enter the website with my username and password and it is not working. What do I do?
Refresh your browser and retype www.playerville.com and then re-try your username and password. If you forget your password, you can use the following link Forgot your username or password?. If you still need help, you can always email info@playerville.com and we will resend the password to your listed email address.
